Tim Craig is a self-taught artist and has been drawing since he could hold a pencil. He was born in La Crosse, WI and currently lives in Caledonia, MN with his wife Dawn. Tim lives in the country and spends as much time as he can in the outdoors. He is an avid bow hunter and fisherman. Tim studies and loves the wildlife in his art, which allows him to create highly detailed and true to life art where wildlife and their habitats spring to life before your eyes.
Tim began his love of the arts with pencil and ink drawings and murals on consignment, which he has showcased at outdoor shows and various wildlife banquets such as Whitetails Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and Ducks Unlimited. He has also created illustrations published in Fur Fish Game magazine.
In 2006 Tim took on the unfamiliar and challenging medium of acrylic paint. Tim has found acrylics to be rewarding and continues to hone his skills with each piece he completes.
